Staff was amazing went out of their way to make it a rather special trip, staff was very friendly and very accommodating with us checking in a little later, definitely the best holiday park I've stayed out and will definitely be coming back thats for sure
Loved the location, and the lake was breathtaking. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved that the cabin had a kettle to make coffee. The heater was on when we arrived so our room was nice and warm. Very Cosy cabin. Family friendly Holiday park with playground for kids.
Rob and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The accommodation was the best facilities and price wise. We stayed in Lake Tekapo, Queenstown, Oamaru and Twizel Holiday Park beat them all on value (price) the accommodation and facilities. We will stay there longer rather.
Our cabin was spacious and we appreciated the addition of a mini fridge. The laundry facilities were also good. The holiday park is in a very peaceful area with a good view of the stars on a clear night.
We booked to of the studios for our overnight stay on the Alps to Ocean Cycle. The Holiday Park was very convenient for this route. The beds were comfortable and the ensuite bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful.
We booked the 1 bedroom cottage and it had EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. It was good value for money, and the space definitely looked better than the photos :) amenities were great and shower was hot and good! Heater and aircon was great. We loved playing with the cat in the holiday park! He/she came into our cottage and made himself comfortable :)
It was a fantastic stay! The cabin was even better than we imagined! It was a proper, spacious room. The bathroom was good, clean kitchen and all the necessary kitchen stuff. The sound insulation was also good, so the sound of life of the holiday park was always outside the room.
We needed a place to stay one night, and the Twizel Holiday Park was on our route.
