Very nice grounds with interesting things to see and do like the flying fox, river eels, glow worms, there is also a nice playground with swings and trampoline.
Although we didn't use it, the campers kitchen/ dining room had a tv, lounge, was clean and well equipped.
This is a cabin in a holiday park rather than a motel. The grounds are exceptional and the staff very aware of the native fauna and flora; an experience not to be missed. You need to carry in your own food as the nearest hotel (Kaihu) has limited hours.
I love that the staff gave us a house instead of the Glamper tent due to a storm that was coming. There were cleaning products for us to use (it was clean) and all we had to bring were clothes and food. Kai Iwi lake wasn’t too far away. It was peaceful and quite and the staff were lovely too 😁

How does it work?
1
It starts with a booking
It starts with a booking
The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
Followed by a trip
Followed by a trip
When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.
3
And finally, a review
And finally, a review
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
