I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hot Water Beach Resort, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The resort is set in a stunning location, just a short walk from the famous Hot Water Beach, which is absolutely spectacular.
The accommodations were fantastic—spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We stayed in a comfortable self-contained cabin, which had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy bed, and a lovely outdoor seating area where we could unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The location is perfect for exploring the Coromandel Peninsula, with plenty of nearby activities, from scenic hikes to other beautiful beaches. We also appreciated the quiet, relaxed atmosphere of the resort, and we quickly regretted only booking a one-night stay—this place is truly special, and we would’ve loved to stay longer.

Join the community at a shared grounds, shared facilities holiday park. Groups of all sizes can get comfortable in private bungalows or holiday homes, and spend their stays enjoying time poolside, dining at an on-site restaurant or trying new on-site activities.
Lovely continental breakfast, served on a tray in rroom. (OJ, granola, bread for toast, lots of jams, etc, coffee & tea.) Each room/apartment has its own private little outdoor seating area, to enjoy the stunning gardens and beautiful birdsong. I love the way the owners provide the loan of beach towels & spades for guests' use! There is also a very nice TV/games-room, with an extensive selection of entertainment.
Good location. Close to amenities and beach. Very comfy bed. Great shower. TV entertainment had access to all streaming platforms. Nice kitchen.
