Rather crowded for the facilities. Was very crowded and full with campers with tents... 3 showers, 3 toilets, 3 wash basin one of them in the toilet cabin. Kitchen basic and tired. Gypsy caravan was good. Clean and equipped but no cooking in there. Bed was fine. Camp close to the town and shops which are lovely.
This cottage was exactly what I was looking for to have a couple of nights of peaceful solitude in the Waiarapa. Essentially it was a tiny house. It had everything you needed in one room, plus a compact bathroom. Easy to heat on a cool winters night.
Host very helpful, and available via phone if needed.
I loved that I also could bring my little dog to stay with me.
I hope to stay again sometime.
