A hidden gem! Right in the heart of Galle Fort, the place to be when you come to Galle. Just stay here. A small 7 room boutique hotel feel right at home. Aesthetically restored in an old Bungalow. We were lucky enough to even get a free upgrade to a courtyard room! Good breakfast as well! Would love to come again. Some amazing restaurants in walking distance. Highly recommend the Pasta Company bang opposite
We really enjoyed our stay at Windy Garden. The room and swimming pool were very nice. We liked the Sri Lankan breakfasts and there was always someone at home to help you with anything. The owner made sure we had a nice tuktuk driver who brought us to town. He also arranged for a taxi driver to take us to Tissa. We would definitely recommend Windy Garden!
The Staff were exceptionally helpful & friendly.
Because it was the off season there were few guests and we felt as tho’ we had our own private swimming pool.

My wife and I stayed with our 3 small children in Sholay Villa. We liked the accomodation and the people were realy friendly and helpfull. The breakfast and swimming pool were great (according to the children). Nice fall out base to visit Galle and relax afterwords.
Amazing place! Good value for the money! Delicious breakfast! Big rooms , swimming pool, beautiful, big bathroom with a tub. They have even extended some hours for check out, really happy with my stay. Special thanks to Andre! He arranged transport to get back to the city.
the environment was excellent, swimming pool facility was an additional entertainment. overall the time spend there was worthwhile. caretaker did a wonderful service and was very corporative.
Perfect place a few minutes from the city with beautiful garden and swimming pool. The bungalow is just perfect with a confortable terrace, nice view on the garden, big bathroom. Confortable bed. The staff is so nice and welcoming, preparing sri Lankan specialities for breakfast. Exceptional!
Loved the whole ambience: a quaint bungalow room, pristine swimming pool, rich foliage were great first impressions. The high ceilings & large spacious room for the family reinforced the impression. The host Kumud was friendly and welcoming without being intrusive.
The hotel is right in the middle of the jungle and each room is a standalone bungalow so you really are not in the middle of tourists (and there are many in Galle). Rooms are very large and very well decorated, especially the bathroom, which is just amazing. It is super comfortable and very clean.
The swimming pool is great.
If you tell them in advance, they can cook lunch or dinner for you and it is excellent Sri Lankan. Breakfast was also very good and a mix of continental and Sri Lankan.
The hotel is in a well maintained Dutch bungalow with excellent breakfast, hospitality and warmth. This hotel has amazing vibes, the swimming pool is amidst green garden. This is best propoerty to enjoy heritage with modern amenities. Highly recommended for couples looking for solace, peace and tranqulity. The english breakfast is amazing with good fruits, juices, bakery basket, hash brownies, and pan cakes.
