wonderful apartment with a balcony, air conditioning, kitchenette (microwave, coffee machine, kettle). Polite and helpful staff, the lady took us from the ferry to the apartment, showed us a map with the bus, beach and attractions. Delicious breakfasts. The swimming pool is clean and beautiful (sunbeds, umbrellas, tables). Lake Balaton is warm and clean. We are delighted and will come back for a longer stay next year.
We were there for a second time. This hotel is clean and has great facility - wellness and spa is included in price. Swimming pool area is very clean, nice looking and comfortable. Breakfasts are really good. We spent a wonderful time there.
Thanks to GPS it is not so difficult to find the hotel. Traditional historic buildings are transformed into modern accommodations—large rooms and bathrooms. The hotel provides natural cosmetics. There are a lot of flowers everywhere outside. A not-so-small swimming pool makes a perfect relaxing place.

Stay at The Houses of History was terrific! Very cozy and stylish buildings and apartments. Lovely garden and swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent, with many choices and delicacies. The staff was amicable, caring, and very professional. Special thanks to the team for their hospitality! It makes the stay at the hotel unforgettable!
