Red River Stables - Peaceful, beautiful grounds, swimming pool, central location for West Cornwall, hotel in St Ives

Red River Stables - Peaceful, beautiful grounds, swimming pool, central location for West Cornwall in Camborne provides adults-only accommodations with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, and...

A great place to explore. I am biased as I grew up around here but the location is fantastic. A 5 minute drive and you are on the North Cliffs and within 10 minutes the beaches of Portreath, Godrevy and Gwithian. Nicola is lovely and will message all details before the stay. My partner loved the place and she said she would return almost as we first walked through the door. Puggis Hill is just off the A30 but you can't hear the road noise as you are positioned within the Red River valley.

The gardens and views were amazing, the pictures of the resort on booking.com look stunning but it's even better while you're there. The outdoor swimming pool was warm and was at the right temperature to cool you down on a hot day, We'd also had an evening meal at the restaurant and the food was delicious, in a lovely setting looking out towards sea views, also had entertainment at the hotel.

Peaceful area away from the main entertainment complex, was clean & tidy with plenty of kitchen utensils for self catering. Bus stop at the holiday village goes straight to St Ives within 15mins so didn't have to worry about parking in the small but busy town

The location was really good, albeit a little far from St. Ives town. I came by train and then took a taxi to reach there; it was a 10-minute ride. The area was lively with entertainment in the evenings, so you didn't need to go far for restaurants, bars, kids' entertainment, swimming pools, etc.

The silver 2 bed caravan was great. Had a good size decking area with wooden bench and table. The caravan was clean and modern. Even had a dishwasher! The entertainment complex was good and the children’s entertainment was enjoyed. Can’t comment on the acts as we never stayed that late. The swimming pool was dated and quite small but still ok and the kids enjoyed it. The grounds are in woodlands so no views as such but still nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at St. Ives Holiday Village. The lodge we stayed in was top quality. The entertainment was brilliant, and the staff were so happy and energetic. Kids had a brilliant time going down the water slide, too.

Very peaceful location and accommodating for our golden retriever. Good facilities since we only paid 100 per night. Indoor pool was good and kids entertainment was also good. Overall it is a lovely holiday park, only a couple of miles from St Ives and Hayle beaches.
