Spacious family room. Plentiful hot water. Lovely peaceful location away from a busy road. We walked to Haverthwaite station and took the train and then the boat to Bowness. Also we walked beside the river to the Motor Museum. The swimming pool was excellent. Good breakfast.
The hotel was very comfortable, rooms were large and lovely views. Facilities were v good, and especially enjoyed using the swimming pool. We
had a delicious meal too. But what made it for us was the staff, especially the Irish chap. He was so great with the children and was very funny says my 8 yr old! The hospitality was excellent. We had already stayed at 2 well known 4 star hotels on our trip and we had a far more enjoyable time and restful sleep staying here. Would definitely stay again.
Beautiful hotel with comfortable but very hot rooms. Swimming pool, sauna etc very clean. Friendly staff.
