There is a very good pub just down the road serving good food with a good atmosphere

We booked 2 lodges.
One was higher up and had a nice view over a green and the other was more secluded. Both were nice.
They were a good layout and really comfortable.
The facilities are good. We ate at the restaurant both nights. Service and food were good.
Cheddar Gorge and the shops, restaurants, coffee shops etc are close by and within easy walking distance and definitely worth a visit.
We walked from the site to Cheddar Gorge which was ok on the Saturday and Sunday but on the Friday there seemed to be a continuous flow of huge lorries going to and from the quarries on the main road near the site. I assume it must be like this on all weekdays.
