Beautiful hotel in the very heart of Carlisle. Staff throughout were lovely, and the room was large, clean and comfortable. Excellent little swimming pool with great opening hours.
We really loved this place. The building is quite beautiful and old.

The location is quite nice, near the station and the cathedral.
The breakfast buffet didnt have that much veggie options but they could be ordered separately (try the vegan sausages, they are great).

Lovely old building, with a restaurant and bar on the premises. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was lovely. A nice breakfast too. The room was a really good size and nicely styled. I loved the indoor swimming pool, that was a real bonus. Super comfy bed.

Fantastic place to stay, really well equipped, bright, clean and comfortable. Not far from the motorway so a great place to stay to break up a long journey. It was great to all have our own space. The caravan park was very quiet and peaceful and would be ideal for a longer stay too.
