We'd been here before two years ago so knew what to expect. The hot tub is great, the outdoor swimming pool... refreshing! The horses in the field out the back - beautiful.
The location for us was perfect. This was a walking weekend with a goal of getting up to the source of the River Severn. There was a music event in the evening at the site which was great entertainment and an evening meal option in the interlude which we took. The breakfast was excellent and at a time agreed beforehand.
