The location of the hotel is perfect for your visit to Lake Windemere, with an car park nearby for guests. We loved the family room, which included bunk beds. It was nice for our son to have his own space in the bunk bed nook, along with his own TV. The large hotel bar area offers beautiful views across the lake, and the grassy terrace outside is a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of town. We didn't have any spa treatments, but did enjoy access to the swimming pool.
Spa lovely and Sharon was a star. All the staff were exceptionally helpful despite the hotel being very busy. They found us a more roomy twin room instead of the small double we were expecting. Breakfast was really good with views over the gardens and their ducks. I would stay here again especially because they have a swimming pool.
Location was excellent, room was very good, staff were friendly and helpful, swimming pool was great and lovely changing rooms. The breakfast was nice. Bed was comfortable.

Swimming pool looked great but as we stayed 1 night there wasn't enough time.
The hotel is quite big, beautiful territory, good breakfast, you can have a tasty dinner there and spend time in a good bar with great views. There is a leisure spa center with steam room, sauna and a swimming pool. The room was clean.
