Although a bit tucked away and further from the ski resorts of Le Grand-Bornand and La Clusaz, the location is beautiful, especially the view right from the dining room. A swimming pool and sauna are available (cannot comment on those in detail as we did not go due to lack of time). Communication by the reception staff was excellent, for example as regards our arrival after business hours. Value for money is very good, perhaps excluding dinners.

ULVF Les Essertets features a sauna and free private parking, and is within 19 miles of Halle Olympique d'Albertville and 24 miles of Montenvers - Mer de Glace Train Station.
