The room was very clean and well organised. The courtyard was such a great spot to relax after exploring the town, which was only a few minutes walk away.
This is definitely one of my favourite places I've stayed in.
Frank was such a friendly and helpful person. I'd love to return to Wernigerode and have a beer with him as I'm sure he can tell some amazing stories. Thanks again for the Schierker Feuerstein and the outdoor public swimming pool recommendation.

Swimming pool well designed with several options for different ages. Reception area was well maintained and arranged. Nice idea to have the little walk at the cafe area with wooden figures depicting fables. Parking next to house. Most nights were quiet and easy to get good sleep. Inclusive activities such as pool, indoor play area (was newly equipped and well arranged) were appreciated.
Very nice place. Spacious and comfortable room. Good rich breakfast. Swimming pool open 24h and 2 types of steam room that where on the schedule. Location close to the city center and walk-able distance from the train station.
The room was well appointed and clean. The balcony with the view of the castle was perfect. The parking was very good. The hotel is very well situated and is only a short walk to the centre of the town. The staff were very friendly. The swimming pool was a real bonus and we used it a couple of times during our stay. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. We would definitely stay here again.
the houses were pretty and nice setting if you’re lucky to get one behind the street for parking. the children’s indoor area and swimming pool were good
