Relaxing location, close by the beach, and all facilities needed present, including a beautiful bbq area and garden with swimming pool where you can relax enjoy the surroundings. The owner is really friendly and helpful, and the rooms are beautiful with nice details.
The facilities at the hotel are great and allowed us to have a relaxing day at the swimming pool. The rooms are quite big. Additionally, the location of the hotel is great as it is close to the Marino Ballena National Park (10 min walk). Something that is good to note is that the last 100 meters of the road that leads to the hotel is not paved. However, with a Sedan type car (low and no 4x4) it's no problem getting there.
Such a friendly family. they speak only Spanish, but with our basic Spanish words we could talk to each other. They were very helpful. Mama washed our clothes (extra service but very good!) and when I was hurt, Papa helped me to take care of my toe.
Nice little swimming pool to refresh!
Thanks for everything. You were great.
Charming bungalow, great location right near the beach. Swimming pool and table tennis were a great touch. Kitchen was well equipped and warm shower was amazing but cool showers also refreshing.
Only 5 very nice wooden and spacy bungalows with a swimming pool in a shape of a whale tale. Nice terras in front of the bungalow with wooden table and chairs and a hammock. Close to the beach but with an entry fee otherwise you have to drive. Restaurants and a little supermarket round the corner. They offer free a free laundry service for a to four the cleaners.
Really secluded with a great view of the Marino Ballena park. The swimming pool area and hot tub were lovely. We stayed in one of the bungalows which was really nice and spacious, and loved the outdoor shower! The staff was really welcoming and kind.
The Whale Tail is a really nice resort in the heart of Uvita. The gardens are lovely, swimming pool is a great addition to the pretty grounds. Many hammocks to relax in at the reception area and breakfast included. Bonus - a coffee and tea during the whole day for free. Rooms are in a small bungalows and include a bathroom.
We liked our spacious little bungalow and it was a short walk to the beach - lots of wildlife around and a nice laid back vibe. The swimming pool was a bonus.
The bungalow was perfect, spacious, clean, comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped , even with some coffee for the beggining. It is very close to the NP Marino Ballena. I was not awere, that there is not any public beach in Uvita, so have to pay an entrance fee to the park. But it is no high, 6,70$,and the beach is really beautifull ! Or you can drive to other beaches nearby.
