we had the pura vida bungalow and loved the view and the great bathroom. excellent breakfast was served at our terrasse. very kind staff. thanks to all for one of our best stays on our 3 weeks tour in CR.
The place is beautiful and the nature is very close. Sleeping in the little bungalow-like room next to a beautiful river was awesome. The river next to the hostel was great for exploring.
The spaciousness of the property and the lovely garden with the animal entertainment. The big room and spacious bathroom area. Breakfast and dinner were very tasteful. Owner was very friendly, brought me a folding bed to lay in the sun as there are only chairs in the spa pool area.
Arrived late at night and check-in information was left for us in the envelope. The last part of the road to the hotel is gravel, which is not a big deal. Completely comfortable to drive. The bungalow was private with a nice deck. The shower was awesome. Didn’t make it for breakfast so no comment about it. The trail with hanging bridges is a very nice addition. Would stay there again.

Location is just excellent- perfect for walks in the jungle, close to the hanging bridges of Heliconia rainforest! View is magical, air totally fresh, full with birds! We saw tucanes on the tree just in front of our bungalow. Room is large , beds too, enough comfortable ! Breakfast was good, though not excellent.
We had most likely the nicest bungalow, can’t imagine there is a better one 😉. Used the outdoor kitchen one night and ate on the terrace, surrounded by the park & woods. Hummingbirds 5 meters away & tucans in the trees, amazing.
Nice breakfast at the main house with really good homemade bread. Did a nice 30 min. hike on the property trail starting from the bungalow.
