We stayed in the Peninsula cabin and were blown away by the apartment, fireplace (heater) and facilities. Who knew so much luxury existed at a holiday park! The cheeky birds “helped” us pack and while some people may complain, they need to stop feeding the wildlife! We had a blast - just remember to keep the door closer for those visitors!
really neat little bungalows with everything you need for a stay, the grounds were well kept and it was really comfortable. we wished we had stayed longer, the walk down to the bay was just stunning!
Excellent location! Really a holiday park. Lots of Tasmanian pademelons running around the plot. (so be careful driving in.) Would totally use the pizza oven, call in advance to use that. Staff were friendly and flexible with checking in late and checking out early. Beds are a bit springy and thin but we all slept very well regardless.
The grounds had lots of vegetation including tall trees. We could see the bay from our cabin. The cabin was not the typical caravan park cabin with its standard layout and furniture, it felt more like a modern apartment. It wa spacious, had a balcony and modern amenities. Cabins were spaced out rather than jammed together as in many caravan parks
Nice little cosy cottage which was lovely and clean. It had everything we needed and is nice and close to Port Arthur. The caravan park has an abundance of wildlife wandering around at night which was nice to see. I would definitely stay again.
