It is a large holiday village of sorts, complete with RV parks. There are facilities and pool and kiddie parks.
Nelson Bay (the commercial centre for the region), is about 10min drive away. Very close to all the on land whale watching spots.

Loved the heated swimming pool, it was actually properly heated unlike other resorts we've stayed at so despite it being a cold day, we had a lovely swim. Perfect location right by beach and cafe. Trampolines were great fun.

Great location, short stroll to Fingal bay. The upstairs lounge dining and kitchen area was very spacious and comfortable leading to a large outdoor entertainment area which was ideal to relax after a day at the beach. The host was really great to deal with. Would have loved the coffee machine in the upstairs kitchen.
