You will be catching up with the crowd just 10m from the house. However when you get in, it's absolutely quiet.

The host was very friendly, accommodating and met our needs even late in the evening. The apartment was clean and very comfortably furnished. Towels, hygiene products and detergent were provided. It has a beautiful terrace on the rooftop with a clear view of the surrounding area. There is also a protected outdoor area with a whirlpool and the possibility of hanging up laundry without fear of it flying away. The location is perfect. It's just a few minutes' walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and there are numerous restaurants and activities in immediate vicinity. You can also get a list of recommendations from the host, saving you a lot of additional research. Please note that there are many stairs, very common for Vietnamese houses. You can also expect the typical Hanoi noise and market smells. It didn't bother me at all because that's the charm of the city. I am completely satisfied with the apartment, I had a wonderful time there and could imagine to coming back in the future.
