Fisher's Landing, a property with a garden, is situated in Nantucket, 1.9 km from Dionis Beach, 7.8 km from Nantucket Whaling Museum, as well as 7.8 km from Nantucket Atheneum. We've never stayed in Fisher's Landing, but found this property last minute and really enjoyed the location. It's a 15 minute walk to 40th Pole beach via a path that starts around the corner. It's a beautiful walk -- if you're walking there at sunset, it's amazing. If you have little kids, keep in mind that part of the path isn't wide enough for a beach wagon. In fact, if you have little kids, you'd probably want to drive to the beach. The house is super clean, has beautiful wood floors, the kitchen has everything you need, the deck is in really good condition and the full length of the house, and outdoor shower is perfect. The owners were really nice to have things available like dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner. Since we booked last minute, we weren't able to get a car ferry. So, we used the bus that stopped on Madaket Road just up the street from the entrance to the community. It came every half hour and was a quick ride to town.
