I don’t know any other holiday home in a better condition and location in Uganda like this one. It’s a nice adventure to go there, still you are close enough to Jinja to do some groceries. This house, the garden and the huge pool will leave you speechless. Also the caretaker Isaac is very caring and will help you with everything. :-)
Surjios is a fantastic place to stay and great value for money. We enjoyed the food options and the quiet atmosphere. The room was very clean and the staff were always on hand to cater for our needs.
Due to a late cancellation we were upgraded to a bigger room. It was very clean and comfortable. We liked the communal area, which had books, magazines and games. We loved the veranda - very peaceful to sit looking out at the garden. Breakfast was good - selection of fruit, juice, coffee or tea, toast, butter and eggs however you want them, prepared perfectly by Joshua. We found the location good.
Beautiful setting, comfortable room and facilities, great staff. Everything is kept very clean. The breakfast is okay, simple omelettes or pancakes. It also serves food during the day /evening which is convenient. The location is probably too far to walk into Main Street in the heat, around 10-15 mins.
The place is a 10/10, very clean with a private entrance. I recommend it for everyone who travels to jinja💯 The best place I’ve been to, it looks as it is in the pics. I would come back again.
