The place is perfectly equipped for self-sufficient holiday - beach chairs, cooler box etc. There is everything you need for cooking - all functioning, everything thought about. It feels like a lot of thought has gone into practicalities - it really is super user friendly and handy. I had planned to stay a week but changed my plans and stayed an extra week instead of looking for other places to just “change the scene” - there is a lot accessible in the driving distance, it’s a good base for visiting Playa Sucia (30 min) or even Crash Boat Beach (a little over an hour drive). The customer service is impeccable. Whenever I needed anything, I always got a reply in less than an hour, including on a Sunday. Top marks for this place!

Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the garden views. The accommodation is non-smoking. Everything! The Bungalow was beautiful, clean, spacious and super comfortable. The bed was big and very comfortable. The shower was amazing. Location was perfect- walk to the beach where you can snorkel, scuba dive and kayak. Anton and his girlfriend are amazing hosts. When we arrived Anton took us in town to show us where everything was. They also made us an incredible dinner. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Located in Santa Bárbara de Samaná and only 2.1 km from Cayacoa Beach, Samana house provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. This holiday home features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Owner/host was very communicative and checked in thru WhatsApp often. She wasn't on site but if I needed anything at all, I could reach her at any time. The cleaning lady lives on-site, so she was always available. 10 min walk to town area (grocery stores nearby) and 20-25 min walk to the beach. The street noise is loud in Samana but in my room it was not a problem (I shut windows and turned on the fan). I felt very comfortable and safe. The kitchen was nice, had everything one could need and there was even a wash machine if you needed to do some laundry. I ended up staying another 3 nights :)
