It is great for groups (up to 8 people) since it is very spacious and comfortable. Everything in the house seems rather new and maintained with care. Even the yard and the space around the house are very attractive with a well-kept lawn. The hosts, Janja, Bernard and Tine are super friendly and approachable. We also visited their property (which is just a few minutes away) where they keep their cattle (unique breeds) and tried some incredible home made burgers prepaired with their own meat and amazing dry aged steaks. We enjoyed their company during the dinner and a bunch of interesting stories. We definitely plan to repeat the entire experience and would recommend it to everyone.

Extremely well -equipped house, you literally have everything there, even timber was provided for grilling. The owner paid special attention to comfort. The beds are very comfy. The owner is very helpful and flexible,so is the housekeeper. The location is perfect, a lot of tourist sights are within 30-60min by car. We definitely recommend this place either for families or group of friends.

Where to start:) Location - it's 300m from Predjama Castle parking place, so you don't need to take a car to get there (and you'll save 6 eur for parking). There's everything - you'll find everything you might possibly need in the house (washing machine, detergent, hair dryer, all kitchen supplies including kitchen oil, several types of tea, coffee, sugar, salt, dishwasher with enough tablets, pencils and toys for kids in kids room, funny pinguins game, puzzle, playing cards, ....). Hospitality - you feel attention to details in everything in the house. And you feel welcome immediately as soon as you step in.There were a few types of welcome drink in the hall. There was a nice textile bag with aplles and basket with nuts and nutcracker in the kitchen. I asked whether we can find drying rack (ropes are outside and it was raining) and lady came in the morning with totally new drying rag. Parking - you cannot park your car closer anywhere else - it's 1m far from the main door - so it's so easy to get everything inside. Furniture - the master bed is gorgeous - someone did an incredible job while working with wood creating such furniture. It's wonderful. Also teh clock in the kitchen will take you back in time and you'll definitely forget about your everyday life:) AC everywhere - for cooling and heating as well.

Janina's Dragonfly house, a property with a garden, is set in Nova Vas, 44 km from Ljubljana Train Station, 44 km from Predjama Castle, as well as 17 km from Snežnik Castle. I have stayed in hundreds of different apartments and houses, but this house is the best. Everything is impeccable: interior design, furniture, home appliances, terrace with grill utensils. Janina is a very nice person and a great host. She welcomed us personally with fresh homemade bread, honey, and wine. The area is very quiet with beautiful landscapes, and it is very close to the lake. A small supermarket is just a few minutes' drive from the house.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, HIŠA ZIMAZAKON BLOKE is located in Nova Vas, 15 km from Snežnik Castle and 30 km from Karst Museum Postojna. A beautifully designed little cabin, clearly very new. Perfectly equipped, with the most gorgeous outside space! We were most blown away by the cleanliness of the place however - it was absolutely spotless.
