Mysig stuga i Stavnäs By- Sommarhamn, Värmdö is located in Stockholm, 43 km from Army Museum, 43 km from The Royal Palace, as well as 44 km from Vasa Museum. The cottage is very cozy, lovely furnished, super clean, and has everything you need. Katja is such a nice host, always available for questions, and gave us great recommendations for our stay. The village has a great bus connection to Stockholm and a ferry line to the outer archipelago. A bakery where you can also get warm lunches is right around the corner. All in all, we had such an amazing and relaxing time and would definitely go there again when visiting Stockholm county ☀️

The hosts have also been generous on borrowing their bikes to go around the island a couple times. The place is perfect for a simple countryside getaway in two. It’s located within walking distance various sites, restaurants, supermarket, boat station etc. It is very clean, with all the necessary amenities. The shower facility nearby is modern, Clean and easy to access. The island itself is a typical island in the Swedish archipelago, with various pine trees, berry bushes, moss, lichens, deers, lizards, marine birds etc. and the Islanders being good stewards for this.

There are a lot of lovely details, free drinks and sweets. The garden is wonderful. The city of Vaxholm is very close. You can use two bikes in order to discover all the nice places. We enjoyed the time.
