Brilliant place at a brilliant location. The views are stunning. It feels as if you are in the middle of nowhere, but stiill you are quite close to the nearest town. The spacious living/dining area is fantastic with great views across the lake.

Staying at Cozy Mountain House in Jämtland was amazing. The house is beautifully located in the forest on a hill, providing great views. Despite the hilly and rocky road, it was easy to reach from the main road with normal FWD car. The barbecue area with an unlimited supply of wood was a great attraction, and the surrounding nature is breathtaking. In the summer you can even see reindeer nearby. The apartment was very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. The host was extremely hospitable and offered valuable tips on local attractions. Overall, I highly recommend this beautiful, well-maintained home for the perfect getaway.

Cabin 70m from lake. Big garden, a property with a garden, is set in Östersund, 30 km from Östersund Bus Station, 30 km from Östersund Train Station, as well as 33 km from Jamtli. Everything was as described, the place felt like home! We will be back for sure!
