The location is perfect, in the middle of the small medieval centre of Sölvesborg and literally a few steps away from the magnificent Nikolaikyrkan. The house is not large, but very functional. It has everything you'll need, and more! The kitchen is fully-equipped, with modern and top-quality items, not the second-grade quality often found in summer houses. Free use of the available staples, coffee, sugar, salt, cereals, tea, etc. Even corn for popping and a small bowl of candy ("godis")! The bathroom is small but modern and spotless, with floor heating and washing machine. The breakfast was "self-assembly" from tasty and fresh ingredients, including home-baked bread. The beds are comfy, and the space under the roof, although a bit tight, is very cosy for sleeping, and great for kids. There are games, reading and entertainment available should the weather be bad. Cathrine was a lovely host, pro-active and precise in the pre-arrival communication, very flexible. After our departure she even biked down to the railway station to catch us because we had forgotten a small item! I happen to know this part of Sweden very well - rest assured, this is an excellent and no-nonsense choice, with which you can't go wrong.
