Featuring a garden and views of inner courtyard, Casa Weiss-Cetățele is a recently renovated holiday home located in Şurdeşti, 4.1 km from The Wooden Church of Şurdeşti. Loved the setting at the end of the village, set in an orchard with covered porches for lounging and eating. We stayed in the old cottage - two rooms with comfortable beds and bathroom with washing machine. The well appointed summer kitchen was close by. Our host Liliana was generous with her fruit, vegetables and apple brandy - and fed us delicious plum dumplings. We did day trips to wooden churches, Sighetu and the Merry Cemetary and Baia Mare. But also enjoyed sitting on the porch and hearing cow bells, cockerels and other sounds of country life.

Everything about this place was amazing, location, services, friendly staff, clean. Staff are open to last minute changes and accommodate for it, just superb and hopefully we will have the chance to come back, I will strongly recommend . We have had a lovely time. Thank you .

Offering a garden and garden view, Căsuța Adelina is set in Borşa, 27 km from Horses' Waterfall and 46 km from The Wooden Church of Ieud. We had everything we needed, the host was nice (he treated us with a good spirit called palinca on arrival) and he was very helpful ( for instance, we experienced some problems with our car and Pandele helped us sort it out). The house was cozy and sparkling clean and the rooms were spacious.The access from the street was easy.
