Boasting a garden and views of garden, Old Court is a holiday home set in a historic building in Curtea de Argeş, 30 km from Vidraru Dam. The location is fantastic. Right in the centre of town but once you go through the gates of the property you feel like you are in the countryside. The 'cottage' I stayed in was spotlessly clean, well equipped and a pleasure to be in.

Boasting free bikes, garden and views of mountain, LA LIVADA is located in Valea Danului, 27 km from Vidraru Dam. Amenities were exactly as presented. The cabin was fully equipped, clean, almost brand new. There is a little booklet on the TV furniture where the premises are presented and recommendations to visit places around can be found. Plus the garden has everything; you can taste the fruits - not called Orchard (La Livada) by mistake; some berries were ripe when we arrived in July. Very tasty. Looks like it is kid oriented refering to the playground, having little bikes, slides, climbing, and many other options to play, however as adults we had a little fun with the mini zip line. We would have played badminton, but it was a little too windy for that. We (3 adults) stayed in the smaller cabin. Had a double bed (mattress) in the small attic, and a stretchable sofa. The sofa was a little stiff to sleep on, but this is subjective. For example I like a stiff bed. The mattress in the attic was not too soft, not to stiff, so very much ok. The place is not too far from all the shops you need to buy food. Also, must visit Curtea de Argeș Monastery. Overall this was a very good stay for a night between Transfăgărășan and Transalpina "roller coaster" trip we made.

Set in Curtea de Argeş in the Arges region, Luxury attic has a patio and quiet street views. This was a lovely little apartment with a small but clean pool in a peaceful setting. It was a really good stopover. The staff were very kind and helpful
