Featuring a patio with pool views, pool with a view and a garden, Tropical Garden can be found in Arco da Calheta, close to Caminho Faja do Mar Beach and 2.8 km from Calheta Beach. LOVED the property. It was beautiful, had everything including pool, each place had a beautiful and private patio, a fireplace, and a great view! It was clean, everything was thought of. Also, there are restaurants and a grocery store nearby, which was convenient.

Featuring city views, Friendly house offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 2.1 km from Gorgulho - Gavinas Beach. Catarina was an excellent host! Very responsive and helpful with questions. The property itself was very well kept, clean and equipped with all the needed amenities. In proximity to the airport (about 20 mins drive), the area has supermarket and restaurants in walking distance. One thing to remember, Funchal is all about uphill and downhill roads and pathways, so gear up for a good work out when walking and indeed a slow rollercoaster. I highly recommend this place!

Featuring a patio with quiet street views, a garden and barbecue facilities, Casa do Avô can be found in Ponta do Sol, close to Lugar de Baixo Beach and 2.5 km from Ponta do Sol Beach. Everything, the house was amazing, it offers you so much! You are relatively close to a lot of hikes, the host is really sweet and helpful! There were some wildfires on the island that closed a lot of paths, but then one day in the morning, the host texted me on her own that some of paths have been reopened. Which made us very happy because we wouldn't know about it and so could check some of hikes of our wish list. I would really recommend a stay with Maria! We defenetly will when we coma back!

Featuring sea views, OurMadeira - Sunset Cliff Villas, contemporary offers accommodation with terrace, around 1.6 km from Paul do Mar Beach. With pool views, this accommodation features a balcony. The views at this location are just as good as the pictures show. Definitely a great value for the money here. I would recommend staying here if you're on this side of the island.

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Fajã da Ovelha, Quinta São Lourenço is a holiday home surrounded by views of the garden. Incredible views and very nice host

Boasting quiet street views, Casa da Avó Duca features accommodation with a patio, around 600 metres from Banda d'Alem Beach. Great apartment, very clean and with all the facilities that you would need in the apartment. Walking distance from store, center of the Machico, and beach.

Sonho do Oceano is situated in Ribeira Brava and has a private pool and sea views. Boasting a lift, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. It was a wonderful room, wonderful hostess, clean, comfortable and a great view. Breakfast was great too. Very welcoming.

Offering inner courtyard views, Catavento is an accommodation situated in Porto Santo, 100 metres from Porto Santo Beach and 3.6 km from Quinta das Palmeiras. Perfect location, 2min off the town center. The house itself has everything you need, including an outdoor lounge/bbq area, and a table which is perfect for your meals. Checking in and out was easy, and would definitely stay there again and for longer. The biggest supermarket of the island is also right next door.
