The friendly owners of the market across the street who opened the store for us during their dinner. The owner came to greet us with his friendly dog after we checked in and his recommendation for Daniel Ferreira for a private day tour in Douro.

Situated in Vila Real in the Norte Region region, Quinta da Laceira - Douro Valley - Alojamento Local has a balcony. Staying at the vineyard was an exquisite experience. The location offered stunning views, and the pool added to the charm. The hosts were incredibly friendly, hospitable, making us feel right at home. Not to mention, the wine and olive oil were exceptional, adding an extra layer of delight to our stay. We will back.

Bruno was most kind to meet us to check in and provided useful information about the town. The apartment was neat, clean and well equipped. Parking was easy right outside the house.

Offering pool views, Quinta de Varzielas - Agroturismo in Castelo de Paiva features accommodation, a private beach area, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and barbecue facilities. It is the perfect place for a family stay. The house had everything we needed to cook the food, both inside and outside. It is a quite place with a fantastic view over the vineyards and the river. Our kid enjoyed the pool area, especially when the lovely donkey Nikita came by :) The territory is well kept and the staff is polite (and even easy and interesting to speak with even if you don't speak Portuguese).
