Situated in Estremoz, 45 km from Cathedral of Evora Se and 45 km from Roman Temple of Evora, Casa Porta do Sol offers free WiFi and air conditioning. This new and very clean and well equipped apartment on the 1st floor was surely one of the best places we stayed in around Portugal. The owner was very welcoming and charming. She showed us all the facilities… and there were too many to mention. EVERYTHING was there, many little touches, especially an abundant fresh fruit bowl, bread, jams, milk, coffee and tea were a nice touch. It has a fully equipped kitchen and bright bathroom with big rain shower. Good comfy bed and Smart TV. Little seating area too. Location is perfect. 5 mins walk from the main market square, many restaurants to choose from. Free parking in front.

Situated 31 km from Menhirs of Lavajo, 4Cantos Alentejo offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. The place is modern and comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating and amiable. The location is perfect. When we return to the Alentejo we will stay here again.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, A Janela Do Castelo is situated in Monsaraz. Great location inside the city walls right next to the castle. There was a super outside terrace with a hot tub under an orange tree; a great place to relax after a busy day out! The kitchen, dining, living room was very spacious and very well-appointed with everything one could want. The bedrooms were comfortable, spacious and clean with plenty of storage space.

Boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of pool, Herdade de Vale Maceiras is a holiday home set in a historic building in Santiago do Cacém, 22 km from Parque Natural do Sudoeste... Breakfast was not included but goodies, fruit, coffee, pastries were offered and available. The host was incredibly helpful and welcoming and offered a quick tour of the town. Apartment was very efficiently designed with excellent use of minimal space. Beautifully appointed.
