Loved our experiences at Fare Vahine Oviri - from the awesome welcome from Johnny and family, the 4 hour tour of the island with Johnny (the pilgrimage to Taputapuatea being the absolute highlight), snorkeling in the lagoon and even a meal with the family. The Fare is comfortable and well provisioned for self-catering. This delightful place is one of the best kept secrets in the whole Pacific.

Just 80 metres from the Lagoon access to Sea view, La maison Du Voyage offers a relaxed tropical haven with free snorkelling equipment. Breakfast was amazing. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

They were so helpful in assisting us to book the best island tours, the best tattoo artist, the cheapest rental cars and offered snorkelling gear for our stay too. We can’t thank them enough for making our stay so perfect! Absolute 5 star hosts! The house was a short 10 min drive from town with a few shops closer than that, the bikes were a great alternative transport and the kayaks gave us access to a beautiful river and private island to visit. Sublime location, the first afternoon we just sat near the water and count leave to do anything else, but relax. Would definitely book this again!
