They were very helpful with information for our daily adventures. We had interesting chats together and learnt quite a bit about living on the islands. Rodney gave us lifts in his boat to places we wanted to go to (snorkeling at hospital point, cacao plantation, red frog beach) - like our own special taxi service! Thank you! The house is great too. Spacious and comfortable. We felt at home very quickly. We chilled on the veranda and it was fun to watch various birds from there and little red frogs just up the hill behind the house.

We loved our stay in Bocas Garden Lodges :) The location was perfect for us; we wanted to be a little further away from the center to have peace and tranquility, but still close enough to so it would be easy to move around. We stayed for 6 nights and rented a scooter for our whole stay (scooter was 35dollars/day). With the scooter we moved around the island really easily, it was a 10minute ride from the center. You can also rent bikes from the property or move around with taxi(3 dollars/person). The lodges were nicely decorated and there was enough room to feel comfortable. There is no door to the bathroom, but this didn't bother us. The outdoor kitchen and lodging area was our favorite! It was nice to cook and have breakfast outdoors in the nature. The kitchen was missing a few things (like salt and oil), but we got it from the supermarket. The lodge is new, so I guess with more time there will be more stuff in the kitchen for the guests to use. We met one of the brothers, Flo. He was super nice and friendly and was always for our help if we needed something. Felt like we got a new friend when staying there :) Thank you so much for everything, hopefully we meet again!

Suyi and JJ are fantastic hosts, always inquiring if we needed anything, always a text away. The property itself is spacious and lovely, with a wide, panoramic balcony that overlooks the bay and most of Old Bridge. The kitchen was well supplied and we were able to buy basic things (rice, oil, tortillas, canned meats and veg) at the store less than 10 minutes away. It was lovely to be in nature and yet not too far away from amenities. Solid internet, not too speedy but reliable and plenty good for being on a fairly remote island.

The host are amazing, house was spotless, very clean, the beds very comfortable, and there is AC in all the rooms and living room, plus the view is great. The sun sets on the deck are breathtaking. It was great to go around the bay in the house kayaks.

Located in Bocas Town, 2.9 km from the town centre, Paraiso Escondido features a barbecue and views of the sea. Free WiFi is available . The accommodation comes with a TV and CD player. the bungalow is great. it’s beautiful and it’s exactly as you see in the pictures. The owner was nice, she picked us up the first day and was also there for the check out. they provide a kayak and also masks for snorkelling. be aware that, as the description says, this accommodation is overwater and you’ll have to take water taxis to move around.
