The cottage has a beautiful view and everything has been thought of in terms of amenities and decorations to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The price is very reasonable too for Norwegian standards.

This is a wonderful house truly. My wife and I have traveled for many years and have hardly found a place as nice as this. Cleanliness, quiet location, design of house, detail facilities, spaciousness, easy parking, view, host's friendliness, prompt response, almost everything was top-notch. We were a couple, but at least 8 people could stay comfortably. We originally booked for two days, but as soon as we saw the house we decided to extend our stay by one day. We were so happy here and were sad to leave.

Hefðbundinn norskur bjálkakofi með gufubaði við sjóinn er staðsettur í Tornes og býður upp á loftkæld gistirými með verönd. The location was perfect! It was quiet and peaceful and gave us a a really good taste of Norwegian life. Everything we needed was in that cabin and it was so comfy and cosy.

In every review there should be something positive and something negative. So, let’s get the negative out of the way first: the only thing we found unpleasant in this house was, that we only stayed for one night! Now the positive(s !!): Friendliness of the hostess 11 out of 10. Facilities and standard of the house excellent!!! Everything is freshly renovated and the standard is way… way above average, putting it modestly. To put this review in perspective we stayed in several 4 & 5 star hotels during our road trip throughout Norway, this is better - 5-star superior in our opinion! You can park the car figuratively in the front door! Only 1 meter! The highlight is the newly build, spacious terrace with a view which is so fabulous that it makes you forget time. One thing you should bring with you for this terrace is a sturdy supply of wine, red or white is up to you ;-) Fazit: We enjoyed our stopover tremendously!!!
