Upon arrival, we were greeted with a thoughtful touch - freshly picked cherries from the host's grandmother. The accommodation was impeccably clean and well-organized, making excellent use of the compact space. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the hosts' wonderful dog.

Hardangerfjord View is the perfect place away from home if you are looking for somewhere peaceful, quiet, and scenic. The house is beautiful, cosy, tastefully furnished, perfectly clean and fresh, and comes with all the amenities you could think of: fully equipped kitchen (including basic ingredients) where you can easily cook family-style dinners for 10 people, washing machine and dryer, underfloor heating in the bathroom, fireplace, outdoor grill and furniture, great lighting throughout the house, many seating areas, etc. Every little detail is so well thought out: from the comfortable bedding and high quality towels to the many books and the sound system around the house. You can really feel the love and attention in every corner. Sarah is a truly excellent host; I have never met a host as responsive, well-organised, and gracious. From the welcoming message to the swift communication throughout our stay as well as the clear signage throughout the house, you never feel lost but genuinely well looked after. You will also find ample and incredibly well structured information about the many things you can explore around Hardangerfjord. Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. It was out last minute booking, because other place was cancelled, we booked this one because of lack of other options in the area, but it turned out to be absolutely exceptional place, at the top of the hill with stunning view of the valley and mountains and amazing sunsets! House is full of extra facilities to make your stay as cozy and fulfilling as possible! Host speaks fluent English and communication was very swift and smooth.

The cabin is very well equipped and we liked all the small instructions which help you to feel at home immediately. Also the host very super friendly and easily reachable. We were very tired when we arrived and more than happy to find some „rescue“ food we could use. Thanx to the hosts for making our amazing Norway journey even better!
