Set in Pointe d'Esny, 200 metres from Pointe d'Esny Beach and less than 1 km from Blue Bay Beach, Tikaban offers a private beach area and air conditioning. Pascale and Gerard are lovely hosts--helpful and kind. The place itself is charming and beautifully situated on a small beachfront property. The outdoor kitchen on the covered balcony was particularly lovely. This is the kind of place where you just want to lounge around all day! The location is perfect, with a gorgeous stretch of private beach in front and a short walk to the public beach and local restaurants. Mahebourg is a very short drive away and offers all the conveniences of a large town (with all the charm you could want--I loved this part of the island). Accommodations tend to be expensive below Mahebourg and so this is also a real value.

Set in Riambel and only a few steps from Riambel Beach, L’échappée Belle offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. It was a perfect hangout exactly at the beach. Easy to reach and nice restaurants around. The pool was awesome. The kitchen equipment left nothing to be desired. The communication with the host was very friendly and to the point.

A private location set in a small garden of tropical plants. Steps go down to a beautiful secluded beach of white sand. The lagoon is clean and water clear. It was self-catering and Blue Bay is a 10 minute walk away. Local bus stops right outside the gate. Pascale met me at the airport ~ thank you; Gerard dropped me off for outgoing flight. They are perfect hosts, helpful and friendly. They drove me to local supermarket to buy supplies as I self-catered. A delightful stay, and thank you very much. A bientot!

Offering quiet street views, Vythee Residence is an accommodation set in Chemin Grenier, 2.4 km from Rivière des Galets Beach and 2.8 km from St Felix Public Beach. Everything at this property appears to be new and unused. The owners live above which is handy for access and advice on the area/island. 100% genuine people. I felt privileged to stay. St. Felix beach is an easy 30 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride. Book your stay here with confidence.

Situated in Souillac, near Telfair Public Beach and Gris Gris Beach, Peaceful house and environment is a recently renovated property, featuring, a garden and bar. Definitely the best place we spent the night during our roaming over the Mauritius. The owner is very nice smily guy always wanting to help with anything including housing, shopping, leisure activities, etc. Even asking what else he could improve for next visitors. Growing own chilli, gave me his own products to taste. The house is enormous, 3 floors, multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, balcony and accessible roof, fully equipped. The market, gas station, liquor store and the beach are really close.

Complete with a garden, Mahebourg Family Home is located in Mahébourg, 37 km from Les Chute's de Riviere Noire and 48 km from Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre. I loved everything about the property. The property was exactly the way it in picture and even looked more beautiful.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, Blue Paradise is set in Blue Bay. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. WOW. We cannot say it enough, we loved our stay here. This place had all the amenities we needed. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. Rama and his father made us feel extremely welcomed and comfortable. Even when we checked out, they stressed that if we have any trouble in Mauritius, we can call on them. It's a 2 minute walk to a stunning beach and there's a restaurant & spa across the road. There's a shopping mall 5 minutes drive away. It's probably the closest beach to the airport and is also located in a gated community, which adds to the safety factor. GREAT WIFI. As we continue our tour of Mauritius we are finding that most places can have connectivity issues, which we never experienced here. One thing worth adding, we spent a full day barefoot on the property and my wife pointed out in the evening that our feet were still clean. This place is spotless inside and out. Highly recommended.
