He cooked us a delicious lunch and breakfast and cleaned up after, we didn't need to do anything except enjoy the view, the birdsong and the lovely tranquil atmosphere.

Great location next to Wilpattu National Park. The room was spacious, very clean, and the evening meal was excellent.. Dylan, the owner, is very friendly and arranged a full day safari for us, providing take-away breakfast and lunch, binoculars, and even a zoom lense for our phone. Our jeep driver was very experienced and knew where to spot leopards, bears, etc. Highly recommended.
The lodge is beautiful, amazing food, staff were very helpful with organising the safari and taxi to our next town. The room and ensuite very clean and spacious. Overall excellent stay and good value for money.
Located directly at a river, when we arrived we made a boat tour on the river. no noise except the nature. the boat has no engine, just man power :-) the owner Tarique is very kind and helpful. he organized a safari in Wilpattu, it is located 4 km away from the entrance - topp! We really saw many animals - also a leopard with 2 babies. The food is delicous. We had a tree house, it was very clean and comfortable, our 5 years old daughter loved it - we also!! If we come back to Sri Lankda, we will definitely come back here!
Roshan and his family are lovely and very friendly. He is best tour guide with a smile on his face all the time. He helped us with evetything; planning our holiday, recommending accomodations on our next stops, things to do and places to visit. Their food is exceptional. Dimes, the cook made an incredible job. Rooms are very clean, have an AC and we slept like a baby.
This lodge is something special. The Tembo team is extremely friendly and helpful. Any question is answered and good tips are given. The food was very tasty and rich, not too spicy! The rooms are simple but very clean. A really great value for money. Thank you!
The owner is very friendly and helpful. The food is very, very tasty and everthing very clean. He also organized a wilpattu safari day tour with very good money and an amazing tour guide. Place is also very close to wilpattu NP. I can everywhere recommend this place.
