The place is really well located, the hosts are extremely caring and friendly and the place is utmost clean. We felt so special, just like family. We highly recommend this place to all travellers. The hotel is in the middle of the trees and fresh air. Swan, the owner is a great host always full of kind attention. He is very helpful also for organizing your visits. The rooms are very nice, comfortable and clean and cater for what you need to do your own cooking if you want. Swan prepares a great breakfast too. Certainly the best place to stay in this city!

There was also a great grilled fish and pork cutlet restaurant just a stone's throw away. My kids enjoyed playing in the sea at the end of a long day's driving. The courtyard was also great, with the mini pagoda to hang out in. We will go back specifically to go to this pension!

The owners are a lovely couple and very welcoming! When we arrived we were greeted with food and delicious homemade makgeolli. The owners kindly invited us to join them for a lovely bibimbap in the morning and even prepared a kimchi making experience for us later that day. Stunning views from the property, which also had tea gardens and a very interesting wine cave..! It is quieter during the week and a great place to do some Korean food and/or temple experiences with the owner. Overall it was a lovely and fun stay in Golmangtae Pension!
