Situated in Atami and only 500 metres from Atami Sun Beach, Marina Bay Atami features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was great! 4 adults and 4 kids stayed there perfectly. Apartment was clean, had plenty of towels, disposable toothbrushes and body washing sponges. The manager was super nice, and the location was very convenient. We didn’t have a car, but everything was so close, so we didn’t need it anyways. We had amazing view of spectacular fireworks at the roof top!! I can keep going for many more positive experiences. We will be back!

Opened in February 2018, GOTEN residence is set in Fujinomiya and offers accommodation in a remodeled 80 year old wooden villa. Great authentic traditional Japanese style home. So comfortable, new and easy to use. Washing machine and dryer were also super handy. Easy walk to the Mt Fuji Museum. We wished we had stayed longer.

The Appartement was so well designed, it had everything you need. It was build with a strong focus on beautiful design. The surrounding nature cooperates with the houses. The staff is really helpful. We wish, we could have stayed longer. Must be great in summer with the beautiful beach so close to the appartements!

The whole house has been fully renovated in a modern beach mood way. The living room offers a large volume which is comfortable. The house is very well equipped and very close to the beach 👍 The host Billy was very kind in bringing us some beach games on the day we arrived.

A recently renovated holiday home set in Kawazu, ハートリサイデェンス 河津 features a garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The house, which is a large, two story old building that was likely originally for a two-generation family, is beautiful inside. The first floor has two large tatami rooms next to a hallway with large windows. There are futons in the closets for extra guests. It also has a spacious kitchen/living room with a comfortable small sofa and large wooden table that could easily accommodate 6 or more people. The bathtub is large and stone, with onsen water. It takes a while to fill up, but is a lovely experience to enjoy. Upstairs is another kitchen/living room area that is L shaped. In the living-room end, four beds are laid out (two were pushed together to make one large bed). They are incredibly comfortable with warm feather comforters. There is an additional tatami room with a large bed and a small room where one could telework with another wrap-around sofa and a small wooden table. The internet is spotty in the town itself, but fast in the house. Outside is a lovely hinoki foot bath for two people. Outside is a large kawazuzakura (sakura) tree in the parking area, which means that you can enjoy the flowers without having to even go to the riverside! It is truly just steps away from the house. We were very grateful for the excellent location, as most travelers stayed in ryokan farther away from this central location, and perhaps as a result, the area became more sparce in the late afternoon/early evening. This allowed us to enjoy the cherry blossoms along the avenue by the road to the fullest. Despite being right next to a road where lots of tourists pass, it is very quiet in the house, and at night (by 9PM) the roads are almost completely devoid of both cars and people. The house is extremely clean. There are a few small areas, like the bathroom sink, that look less clean, but this is just because the house itself is old, and should not cause anyone concern.

A recently renovated villa located in Shizuoka, Uwanosora Bed&BBQ&Sauna features a garden. This villa provides free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The hosts were wonderful, taking their time to explain everything in detail. The sauna, available for a small additional fee, is absolutely worth it. The setting is beautiful, perfect for enjoying nature and family time. The facilities are excellent, offering everything you might need, including a water purifier. You can also watch Disney and Netflix on a big projector from a cozy sofa, which was perfect for our rainy evening. The highlight of my stay was getting a tattoo. Reina is an exceptional artist. We chatted, she showed her portfolio, and the next morning she created/placed my tattoo. She was incredibly flexible and accommodating. If you're looking for a local artist who specializes in fine line tattoos, Reina is the one to see!
