The owner was extremely accommodating and the property was very bright, functional and comfortable. We were cycling and she left a bike pump, tools and small portable stands for us to use. There were plenty of thoughtful touches in the house and a strong Minions theme. Highly recommended. Nearby Pizzeria Kuroneko has fantastic Neapolitan pizza baked in an Italian pizza oven. The owner is an artist in his soul and has created an environment that envelopes you in a the essence of Japan. There are two Japanese gardens complete with Koi fish you are invited to feed. There is a large living area besides the large bedroom that is yours to enjoy. The property is in the a quiet neighborhood with local restaurants within 3 or 4 blocks. Across the street is a manga library that you can explore. It’s all so gentle and accessible. I highly recommend you find this to answer your question as to what is Japan without the hype! Enjoy!!
