Location was close to Thingvellir (25 min out) and also close to most north/western part of the island (30min) which was great to be closer to the ocean and other towns. The house was super cute and modern with heated floors (I think). The kitchen had all the extras you could need to cook or eat with a well-stocked pantry. There was also an outdoor seating are and jacuzzi which we didn't get to use but I imagine it would be nice to sit there. It was super windy outside so the noise is kind of scary but the house did not blow away in the end hahah. it was a great stay and very comfortable place!!!

We had such an amazing time at the Oceanfront Villa. Nothing could have prepared us to the moment driving down into the house and taking in the picturesque views. We were surrounded by a real life painting at every turn. The house itself is modern, spacious, and provides all necessary amenities. With the floor to ceiling windows and doors, everywhere you look in the house allows for breathtaking views of the ocean and mountain. During our trip, we got to see northern lights from our bed, spend time in the hot tub, and enjoy each other’s company is a place that truly felt like a home away from home. Our hosts were welcoming and willing to quickly respond to any questions we have. The home is only a 15-minute drive from Hvammsvik Hot Springs, which was nice for a night within the lagoons. You are within driving distance should you wish to go into Reykjavík, but honestly once here – we’d all be surprised you’d want to leave! There was plenty of storage for food to allow for eating together as a group, and all plates, utensils, and cooking equipment was easily accessible and to use to entertain in the house. The house includes a washer in dryer – so no need to overpack! As well as full bathrooms, and clean linens. We enjoyed our stay so much and the only disappointment was packing up our car to leave! Can’t wait to go back and thank you again for sharing your home with us!

Järvevaatega Cosy lakeview mökki 45 minutes from Reykjavik pakub aia ja terrassiga majutust umbes 36 km kaugusel Thingvelliri rahvuspargist. Everything. There was nothing not to like. The location is stunning, the cabin was clean, warm and had everything you'd need. Loads off attention to little details, like food and drinks in the fridge and cupboards, heating on so it was warm when we arrived, extra blankets, dressing gowns to use and even games and books to do on a night.

Agla and Haffy were amazing hosts - so responsive and helpful with everything we needed.
