Offering a garden and mountain view, Rathgillen Mews is situated in Nobber, 19 km from St. Columba's Church and 19 km from Monastery of Kells. County living at its best. Located on the top of a rise, in the midst of farmland, this was truly a quiet, restful location. Due to the rural location the key was left in the door, so we let ourselves in on arrival. We were greeted outside by the owner's dog, who loves to play catch with anyone willing to toss the ball to her. Peter came by a little while later and introduced himself and gave us a suggestion to visit Trim Castle as we continued on our journey. The two downstairs bedrooms were of a good size, with the main bathroom located on the same level. Upstairs were 4 twin beds with an ensuite shower room. The beds were comfortable, all facilities were clean and well presented. Peter was a friendly and welcoming host, we were glad to have made this stop on our journey.

Rathgillen Lodge, a property with a garden, is situated in Nobber, 17 km from Navan Race Course, 19 km from St. Columba's Church, as well as 19 km from Monastery of Kells. This was a lovely comfortable clean lodge with everything needed. Very cosy a christmassey with a little tree up which we loved. The host Peter was a gentleman and helped us out big time to get us to a wedding as no taxi was available. We were greeted by Patch the dog on arrival she was the best!

Boasting garden views, The Groom's Cottage is situated 7 km from Hill of Tara. This property is 8 km from Solstice Arts Centre and has free WiFi. This was a perfect location for visiting the Boyne Valley. The cottage is fantastic, slightly quirky but extremely comfortable and with everything you need. It is beautifully decorated and loved the extra Irish wool blankets dotted around the rooms and as for the chandelier in the bedroom.......just waoh !! The history of the main house and surrounding area, which was supplied by Joe, was an absolutely fascinating read and I did feel that we were walking in the steps of those who went before us. Thanks to Katherine for making us feel so welcome. Would happily return anytime.
