Host Catherine was lovely and at hand whenever I had a question. The location was great. Ample parking. Warm house. Amazing shower. Beautiful scones. Cosy beds and very well equipped.

It has a lovely view and a garden. The garden also had small sections which were not mowed to help the pollinators, which is a lovely touch. Also available was an open turf fire in the front sitting room with turf supplied, but we didn't light it. There is oil heating and an electric fireplace in the back sitting room which is very comfortable. For book lovers there is a lovely reading nook, with books provided. The bathroom is huge with an electric shower and a bath for a soak and some products also supplied. Tea, coffee, milk and cereals were also available, which was a nice addition. The host was excellent with communication and responded to messages quickly. I wish our stay was longer. We will have to return.

This house is absolutely wonderful, it is huge with high ceilings and three bedrooms. There is an ensuite with a shower but also (a jawdropping surprise) a separate bathroom with a vintage looking bath beside a windoq overlooking a field at the back of the house, all surrounded by amazing decor and candles… It is set in a peaceful location for a good night’s sleep, the grass was cut and there were plenty of pillows, books and even extra blankets for a cosy evening inside.
