Wow - what a great place to stay for three nights just outside of Galway! The owner, Jacqueline, could not have been anymore accommodating. She was so nice and even provided us w/ an extra gift for my 50th birthday. We arrived to a beautiful Irish oasis with a wonderful view and a welcome basket. Our family enjoyed the short walk to the sea and the amazing seascapes. I can’t say enough about this cottage, it’s charm and the owner’s hospitality. If you are looking for a traditional Ireland experience then this is the place for you!

This is an entire two bedroom home that you are renting. The kitchen is fully equipped, so if you would like to cook a meal, it is definitely possible. However, the pub, Joe Watty’s is just at the end of the lane if you prefer to go for a pint or a meal. I loved that this facility had a washer/dryer so I was able to get some washing done. Very helpful and thoughtful. I also loved the full kitchen, even though we didn’t get a chance to cook, because I was able to wash and sanitize our water bottles. The host had prepared a binder filled with helpful tips about the property as well as several pages of information of what to do/see on the island.

My family and I had the best time staying here. He is so knowledgeable about the area, makes excellent recommendations, and even brought us over a bottle of wine to say Merry Christmas. My stay here was superb- I will be back!

Cleggan Farm Holiday Cottages offers self-catering accommodation on Cleggan Farm, in the Connemara region of County Galway. Had everything one might need, and was very clean with spectacular surroundings and lovely hostess

Great location, comfortable and warm, lovely to have welcome hamper and toiletries provided as we were travelling light Staff so friendly and helpful to deal with from the outset ❤️Very short walk to be in the centre of town ( less than 5 minutes) and lovely to have some recommendations from the house to get us going on our Galway adventure
