Villa Kayu is located in Gili Air and features a private pool and garden views. This 5-star villa offers a 24-hour front desk and room service. The villa provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Beautiful modern villa steps away from the main village road. The beds were very spacious and comfortable. The pillows are quite thick so if you prefer a softer thinner pillow BYO. We always travel with our own so it was not an issue for us. The villa management kindly contacted us prior to our visit to suggest bike rentals. We are very glad we did as many places were sold out when we arrived and it was very convenient to have them already waiting for us at the villa. You will want bikes to get around the island. Steps away from Flowers and Fire yoga studio, I was able to enjoy yoga class each morning and then return to a delicious granola bowl for the provided villa breakfast. Great way to start the day! We enjoyed cooling down in the rather large pool midday, a the island has many delicious restaurants all very close to the Villa. We recommend Mama's Pizza and Kupa Susi (sp?) but there are so many! The villa is quite close to the mosque so be prepared for several calls to prayer each day begainning before sunrise (the time varies each day but for us visiting at the end of July it was around 5am, 6:15am, 12pm, 3:30, and sunset @ 6:30pm. The length of the prayers vary as well from 5-15mins I would say. If this is not for you then I would stay on the North end of the island. We enjoyed Gili and all it had to offer--the turtles, Crystal blue waters, friendly people and laid back vibe. Highly recommend 🥰 oh and I forgot to mention the lovely spa-like shower! Loved the shower!!!

The staff, especially Jack and Tony, are very helpful: efficient, courteous and professional. The hotel is on a quiet side street off the main beachside thoroughfare, yet has a quick access to it (6m walk). Very highly recommended.

Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. Staff were amazing, facilities nice and clean, location is away from party area which is good.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Jawa House Private Villas is a recently renovated villa situated in Gili Trawangan, 600 metres from North West Beach. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a patio. The villa also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. I loved my stay at this property! My room was amazing. It was a perfect t combination of a luxury feel in the room but a beautiful tropical oasis just outside of the sliding glass door in front of your bed. Since I am a solo traveler, I felt very safe in these grounds.

If you are looking for a paradise, Gili Air is the right place, and for a paradise you need a lovely place such as Apalagi Villas. After one month of traveling Indonesia, we have searched for a place with a private pool surrounded with plants and flowers, with a lot of privacy, nature and local design and far away from the mosque (especially during Ramadan - if you wanna catch any sleep during the night). When we arrived Hans with co. welcomed us very nicely. He told us and even wrote on the map everything that it is essential for a lovely stay. One day I had my birthday and they made me two beautiful “Happy birthday Nina” signs in the villa. This made my day. If you are reading this, thank you once again Abiq, Dila, Tina, Hans and others I don’t know the name. In the villa you have included free bicycles and you can go everywhere in the island (east for snorkeling, west for sunset and bars, south for speedboat taxis to other gilis). Two min from the villa you also have a beach and some bars where you can stay, but as I mentioned, snorkeling is the best on the eastern side of the island. Location was perfect. There are few restaurants in the walking distance too if you don’t wanna drive bicycles during the night. Villa was wonderful and we spend a lot of time there, usually I only sleep in the hotels, but this time we enjoyed it so much, we came back even during the day to relax in the private pool. The place is really wonderful, so peaceful, privacy on high level and with very kind and helpful staff. P. S. Usually I am always traveling to new places, but I am definitely coming back to Gili Air and to this wonderful place.
