We spent 4 nights at Udvar-haz, a nicely renovated village house located in a tranquil village of Nagyvisnyo just 5 kms from the picturesque Sziilvasvarad and Szalajka valley. We really enjoyed the calm and the freshness of the mountain air and certainly the comfort of the house. The large garden and the gazebo - excellent place for an al fresco breakfast or dinner - increased the feeling of countryside freedom. Our little Yorkie doggie, who stayed with us and was welcomed by the host, enjoyed his fresh air freedom tremendously. Udvar-haz is a prefect base for the exploration of the natural and cultural beauties of the Bukk mountain area and the nearby historical sites. We`ll definitely return.

Boasting mountain views, Creekside country cottage Nagyvisnyo/ Patakparti paraszthaz Nagyvisnyo provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 33 km from Eger Castle. A beautifully renovated old house with big and well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable huge terraces are fully available next to the creek with an amazing view. In case of cold weather, the underfloor heating system that fully covers the entire ground floor is a priceless feature. We loved the place and will definitely return soon.
