We had a great long weekend at The Neuk. Initially I was a bit worried about the low number of reviews, but the rental is brand new (June 2024) and deserves getting more attention. Getting the keys in the lockbox worked easily, allowed us for a very flexible check-in (as we were already doing visits on the day we arrived). We found a nice, clean and well furnished house that was perfectly suited for the three of us. Its location is perfect, on a relatively quiet road. We enjoyed visiting St Andrews, walking a part of the Fife Coastal Path, doing some hiking in the Lomond Hills. We didn't use a lot of the appliances, as we were there only for a short stay, but we found everything we needed.

All the little extra touches were so thoughtful, even some treats for the dog! The garden was fully enclosed and well maintained. The property is in a fabulous location within the village. The host was very responsive and left clear, easy to follow information regarding all aspects of the cottage and surrounding area. We will definitely be returning!
