We loved the location- uniquely placed to enjoy the beauty of the mountains but handy to supermarket, bus stop and a short dander into the gorgeous town of Newcastle. We honestly have never met friendlier people than those we encountered here and in County Down in general. We loved ending the day with the hot tub then getting cosy in the Pjs in our beautiful cabin. Super friendly and super organised hosts . Thank you Catherine. We would love to return soon

Comfortable, cosy and clean little cottage in a central location. My mum and I had a wonderful stay over Mother’s Day weekend and we didn’t want to leave! Hillsborough is so quaint and peaceful, and this cottage is ideal for a relaxing break on your own terms.

Everything….the property has been thoughtfully renovated with everything that you require. Host has made it like a home away from home…. On arrival, there was freshly baked bread, homemade jam, fresh fruit, snacks and fresh milk. The views into the mountains are wonderful….wish we could have stayed longer.

The cottage was just like you'd image an Irish cottage to be The village is definitely worth a stop, and drop in to Plough Pub for a great meal.
