I loved the position of the cottage on the cape and the big windows, that allowed an overview over the lake and the surrounding nature, but at the same time much privacy. Travelling without a car, I was pleased, that the bus station in Viuha could be reached in ten minutes. The cottage "Niemi" is perfectly equipped even for a longer stay, providing e.g. a washing machine. I enjoyed the sauna very much.

Located in Tuusula, Villa Tammikko offers a sauna and free bikes. This self-catering accommodation features free Wi-Fi and parking. It was spacious and beautifully landscaped. Very clean and the house (being old) had character. I liked that it had a hiking trail right from the property and if we had more time we would have walked it.

I liked that the house is so warm especially the floor and so clean. The house is spacious and well equipped with the big fridge and freezer. I liked the pictures of a bear and a wolf in the livingroom. Terrace has forest and lake view! In the morning when the sun rises, it was so beutiful. It is a peaceful house but at the same time near neighbors and people. I loved that the supermarkets were nearby by car.

The host family was very attentive, while totally new to booking.com. The fridge was 'loaded'.

The pictures are very tempting but the reality is even far more better. This is not an agency driven anonymous cottage. This is a place used by someone for his own pleasure, with all comfort and useful things you could only think about. And this person is so nice to allow you to stay a while in this paradise. We were so sorry that we stayed only 1 night!
