José is an incredible host that will do anything to make you feel at home. It is a quiet place in the jungle, where you will see (and hear :-) ) a lot of monkeys, butterflies and other animals. Perfect for relaxing, reading outside at the porch or by a small stream that is located directly beside the property. There, you can also eat breakfast, if you like. José cooks everything from scratch in his kitchen outside and it will keep you full for a long time. He can also help with recommendations on where to go or other suggestions. The home we stayed in was super clean and it was even decorated with fresh flowers. You will need a car but then it's maybe a 5-10min drive to Cahuita and about 15min to Puerto Viejo, so you have a wide range of beaches and restaurants to explore. We would highly recommend this place, if you are looking for a place to connect to nature, slow down and still feel at home.

The house offers pretty much everything a traveler could hope for: From covered parking for your car to the stylish interior of all the rooms, the roomy common area, the outside pool with outside kitchen and dining area, very quiet location with no car noise, short and beautiful walk to the beach, and howler monkeys and parrots around you. The folks from Ganesha rentals were super professional, kind and helpful. Definitely recommended!

Set in Cahuita, 21 km from Jaguar Rescue Center, Casa Katharina features accommodation with a hot tub. The location is perfect; a short walk from the entrance to the national park. There is a really beautiful garden with many different flowers and trees. It was lovely to see the birds, butterflies, monkeys and other animals around the house during the day. The house is very new with a high standard. Katharina is very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend a stay at her place.

Situated in Cahuita, LaLola Villa Privada features accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The locaton was perfect and the house itself was amazing! We stayed in the Gata room, the other two rooms looked just as amazing with two queen size beds which were very comfortable. The outside kitchen and pool area was tastfully decorated and fully equipped with everything you need if you want to prepare a large dinner or party. The pool was clean and water clear and perfect temperature. And the nature, wow! Woke up to howler monkeys every morning and the variety of birds was entertaining as well as other jungle animals, iguanas, etc.

Namaitami is in the center of the city. It’s just 7 minutes away from National Cahuita Park. It was easy to reach all restaurants and beach by walk. The place has everything what necessary. It’s beautiful inside and outside. We enjoyed to be outside (on the pool and garden).

Located 1.3 km from Negra, Mono Azul Cahuita offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a patio. We loved this place, great house, clean and great beds, an amazing garden with jungle vibe and alot of animals, we saw a sloth with a baby in the garden, Close to the beach, stores and the National park.... And great host. I Highly recommend this place to everyone

We were absolutely delighted with the place and the people. Jacqueline and Billy (as well as their parents) are extremely sweet and friendly. They showed us all the local attractions, as well as neighboring towns. Thanks to these people, we decided to sell property in England and move here forever!))
